Through our work as the Stretford Hub, we’ve been supporting Trafford’s Covid vaccination programme this week.
Trafford's vaccination programme already means that all of the top two priority groups (those over 80 years old and those living in care homes) are due to have had first vaccination by end of next week. Over the coming weeks and months residents of all ages will be offered the vaccine. You may have heard that some Stretford residents are being given the option of getting vaccinated at the Etihad Stadium complex, to help get the vaccine to many people as possible quickly, but please note if travelling there is a problem you can get the vaccination more locally.
Please be also be aware that you will be phoned with your appointment details when it is your turn for the vaccine. You can also email any questions related to the rescheduling of vaccinations to [email protected]
The Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have put together a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page here, to answer residents' questions about the vaccine. If you've got any other questions about the vaccine, you can now also leave a message with the new Trafford Covid Vaccination Hotline 0161 912 1299. Please help to ease pressure on the NHS by using this number, rather than calling your GP. The hotline aims to answer all questions within 24hrs.
