Rock Against Racism Christmas Party: A celebratory live stream.

To celebrate the 43rd Anniversary of the now Iconic Rock Against Racism Christmas Party at Stretford Civic Theatre, Friends of Stretford Public Hall will be streaming five hours of music and memories live from the venue it took place in.

Immerse yourself in memories from the night from those that were there (and we want to hear from you if you were!) and images from the event and the wider Rock Against Racism movement that grew into the larger Northern Carnival event the following year. Featuring a line-up of Manchester’s finest DJ’s we will be covering music from the event its self, of the era and everything that has grown out of this movement since. Expect a dynamic mix of Punk, Funk, Soul, Rock n’ Roll, Reggae, Ska, Electro, Hip Hop and House.

So put your pop your Christmas jumper on, raise a glass and get on your kitchen, living room dance floor and join us from your home.

Our 2020 Rock Against Racism Christmas Party will be on the 23 December from 5.00 pm to 10.00pm and it will be streamed live on Stretford Public Hall's YouTube channel and the Friends of Stretford Public Hall's Facebook page.
