We have some great activities planned for Half Term week at Stretford Public Hall that will get you dancing, writing and creating!
Family Dance Class | Tuesday 12th February-10am-11am
Focusing mainly on fun, this will be family friendly dance fitness class. All ages and abilities welcome.
Poetry Workshop | Wednesday 13th February- 4.30pm-6pm
Join local poet Cave Man and learn some tips and tricks on writing poetry. Write a poem about 'Saving our Species' and enter it into our World Wildlife Day Poetry competition
Valentines Day Craft Session | Thursday 14th February- 10am-4pm
Make a love themed paper garland, valentines day card, or just experiment with the resources. Drop in at any time.
All half term activities are on a pay what you can basis, with suggested donations from £1.50-£5 per participant. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Poetry Competition | 22nd February
Write a poem about saving our species and e-mail it to friends@stretfordpublichall.org.uk or post to Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road M32 0LG by the 22nd February with your name, age and contact details. We have a first and second place prize lined up for each age category! We'll be announcing the winners at our World Wildlife Day Festival on the 3rd of March.
