SUNDAY 1st MARCH from 2 pm to 4 pm (doors open at 1.30 pm)
In the UK, we send 350,000 tonnes of wearable clothes to landfill every year. That's enough to fill over 450 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
Join us on Sunday March 1st when we'll be saying frock off to binning old clothes, and hello to swapping them! Bring your old clothes, take away some lovely different ones.
How does it work? It's simple. You bring some old clothes that you don't want any more, and you take away some clothes that you do want. You can bring as much or as little as you choose.
Clothes can be dropped off at Stretford Public Hall during the week before the swap. Dropping off in advance gives us more time to sort the clothes but you can also just bring your old clothes with you on the day.
What we will be swapping: good quality mens, womens and childrens clothes, plus accessories.
Items should be clean and in good condition and ideally labelled with the size of the item.
Extra hangers would be greatly appreciated.
Please contact us if you have any questions here.
