Friends of Stretford Public Hall are partnering with Placemaker Events, the team behind the popular Play Café events at Stretford Mall, to organise a Christmas toy collection for the children of families supported by Trafford Domestic Advice Service (TDAS).
A collection point has been set up in Stretford Foodhall and toys can be dropped off from Tuesday 8th December through to Monday 14th December. All donated toys will be put into age-appropriate present hampers and donated to TDAS. We’re looking for donations of new, packaged toys please (not second hand), and there is no need to wrap the presents as we have some elves volunteering to do that!
If you’re unable to donate a toy, donations can also be made via the ‘donate’ function on our website: https://www.stretfordpublichall.org.uk/donate
All donations will be used to buy presents for the hampers. We’re expecting to receive more toys for younger children, so financial contributions are particularly helpful so that we can make sure the teenagers don’t get forgotten! Any donations received on our website between Monday 7th and Monday 14th December will be used to buy presents for TDAS.
