Over the past 18 months, the hall’s large ballroom has undergone significant renovations. The result is a multi-purpose event space suitable for a variety of weddings, community events and private functions. We are now recruiting a team of passionate and enthusiastic event staff to support the opening of this new event space. We are looking to recruit a Duty Manager and a team of casual bar staff to support ad-hoc events throughout the year.
Duty Manager, £15 / hr
We hope to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Duty Manager to oversee events and bookings outside of our usual opening hours. The Duty Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of front of house during events and bookings, ensuring the safety and security of the building and its users. This includes being the main contact point for customers, managing the event staff team, and being responsible for all aspects of health and safety during the events.

Bar staff, £11.50 / hr
To support our events, we are also looking to recruit a team of casual bar staff, to work on our bar during events and private hires. Bar staff will be responsible for the smooth running of hospitality at the hall so excellent customer service skills and a friendly attitude are essential. Bar experience is preferable but training will be provided.
